Summary: The SAP HCM Payroll Lead position is a fully remote role focused on providing critical AMS support for UK payroll within a leading global payroll and human capital management consultancy. The consultant will leverage their expertise in SAP euHReka Payroll to manage tickets, deliver high-quality solutions, and ensure data integrity in payroll processes. This role requires hands-on experience with UK Payroll configurations and participation in cross-functional HR projects. The consultant will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex payroll issues for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activities.
- Manage tickets after receiving functional analysis and guidance on technical implementation.
- Provide documentation on issues handled, both technical and functional.
- Manage personal daily priorities and assigned tickets, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Regularly report on status and progress to the AMS Cluster Lead.
- Maintain internal and external communication channels at appropriate levels.
- Communicate status, resolution, and root cause of assigned issues.
- Design and deliver high-quality solutions through system configuration that meets business requirements.
- Perform configuration for HCM modules of HR: Payroll (evaluation & schemas).
- Act as the HR Services lead for SAP Payroll Management development, defect identification, and resolution.
- Analyze payroll/time schemas to identify root causes and solutions for discrepancies.
- Resolve complex defects related to overtime, social security calculation, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, and payslips.
- Participate in SAP HR projects as part of a cross-functional team to support HR Services delivery.
- Ensure time and attendance data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HCM & Payroll problems for customers and update ticket logging systems.
- Generate easy-to-maintain bug-free code and customize respecting best practices.
- Operate required system tests using provided or self-generated test data.
Key Skills:
- Experience with SAP euHReka Payroll.
- Hands-on experience with UK Payroll configurations, including schemas, PCRs, and wage type creation.
- Strong understanding of HR flows and SAP HR architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues.
