Summary: The role of Business Analyst – SAP FICO (FP&A / Demand Planning) involves supporting finance and demand planning initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze business processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications within SAP FICO (ECC environment).
- Support FP&A and Demand Planning processes and system enhancements.
- Work extensively on SAP CO (Controlling) including cost management, allocations, and reporting.
- Provide functional expertise across both FI and CO modules.
- Partner with technical teams to design, test, and implement solutions.
- Create process flows, documentation, and user stories using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployment of solutions.
- Assist in reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation using Excel/BI tools.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO, with strong exposure to both FI and CO modules.
- Strong expertise in Controlling (CO), particularly in cost management.
- Experience working in an SAP ECC environment.
