Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior SAP FICO Consultant with extensive and verifiable experience in SAP S/4HANA. In this role, you will lead financial system initiatives end-to-end, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in treasury, and accounting modules, with a proven track record of designing custom solutions (Z-programs) and managing complex implementations from conception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management: Lead and manage new business requirements and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand their financial operations.
- Workload Planning: Effectively plan, prioritize, and self-manage tasks across multiple parallel initiatives and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Functional Specification: Define and document project scope, preparing high-quality functional specifications (FSD) for custom developments and system enhancements.
- Technical Collaboration: Act as the main liaison with assigned ABAP developers and the Authorizations/Security team to ensure technical developments and role assignments align with functional designs.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead, prepare, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions in coordination with business key users.
- Solution Deployment: Manage the end-to-end deployment of solutions, overseeing transport management and cutover activities.
- Final Deliverables: Deliver comprehensive process documentation, technical architecture overviews, and detailed user training manuals as part of the project closure.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Solid, verifiable experience working as a Senior Consultant within SAP S/4HANA financial environments.
- Core Module Mastery: Deep, hands-on configuration knowledge in the following areas:
- Bank Communication Management (BCM) and electronic bank statement (EBS) integration.
- Tax configuration (withholding taxes, regional/local tax requirements).
- Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor accounting processes.
- Business Partner (BP) Master Data architecture and synchronization.
- Custom Development: Proven ability to specify, design, and guide the development of custom Z-programs, reports, and enhancements.
- E2E Project Management: Demonstrated ability to drive financial IT projects end-to-end (from discovery phase through to post-go-live support).
Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)
- Language: Intermediate to Advanced English communication skills (both written and verbal) for international team collaboration.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to perform ABAP debugging to expedite root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Tools: Prior experience managing project lifecycle and documentation using JIRA and SAP Solution Manager (Solman).
