Summary: The SAP FICO Business Consultant role is a contract position focused on supporting integrations for three programs and providing basic FICO service desk support. The consultant will work remotely and is expected to have extensive experience in SAP FICO, including hands-on configuration and integration knowledge. Key responsibilities include managing vendor integrations and providing support for general ledger accounting functions. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support integrations for three programs, including IDOC configuration and data transmission methods.
  • Provide basic FICO service desk support for GL accounting functions, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Product Costing.
  • Design and configure solutions in various SAP FICO modules.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to build interfaces and workflows.
  • Analyze and resolve systems and process issues in a collaborative manner.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO with 1-2 full lifecycle implementations.
  • Hands-on ability to design and configure solutions in FI-GL/New GL, FI-AP, FI-AA, CO-PA, and Closing Cockpit.
  • Knowledge of finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting.
  • Experience in S/4 finance or certification is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
