Summary: The SAP FICO Architect (AP-Treasury) role involves leading the architectural design and implementation of SAP solutions, particularly focusing on Accounts Payable and Treasury functionalities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and integration points.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Manage stakeholders in meeting project deliverables on time.
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of SAP sub-modules SAP Accounts Payable and Treasury/Cash Management, particularly in SAP Multi-Banking Connectivity solution.
- Proven experience in leading at least two greenfield SAP implementations, having worked in multi-year engagements and interim state challenges.
- Strong expertise in integration methodologies.
- 10+ years of prior experience in SAP architecture working with relevant IT & business stakeholders in Finance function in the USA.
- Experience working in Big 4 firms or large companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. is desirable.
- Managed at least 10+ resources both onsite & remotely.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business "convincing" capabilities.
- Stay current with hands-on capabilities in emerging SAP technologies, trends, best practices, and providing thought leadership to the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP finance function particularly in Accounts Payable and Treasury/Cash management.
- Prior exposure in setting up multiple banking interfaces through SAP Multi-Banking Connectivity (MBC) solution.
- Proficiency in SAP integration tools and methodologies.
- Experience with bank communication DMAT, third-party integration like Chrome River, Tungston, ADP, etc.
- Knowledge of intercompany operations and reconciliation, open item management, and new functionalities in SAP S/4HANA Financials.
