Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a remote 6-month rolling contract with a leading multinational in the food and beverage industry. The role involves supporting SAP S/4HANA initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing financial processes. The consultant will collaborate with finance stakeholders and provide day-to-day support for the SAP FICO module. This position requires strong knowledge of financial processes specific to the food and FMCG sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the SAP FICO module, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, etc.)
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FICO solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Support month-end/year-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
  • Work with key users to identify and implement process improvements and automation.
  • Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Assist in data migration and user training during rollout phases.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to the food industry (e.g., traceability, cost accounting standards).

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience (ECC or S/4HANA)
  • Strong knowledge of financial and controlling processes in the food or FMCG industry
  • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of integration with MM, SD, and PP modules
  • Experience with cost center accounting, product costing, profitability analysis (CO-PA)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with global teams
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
