SAP EWM Techno Functional consultant

The SAP EWM Techno-Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, enhancement, and troubleshooting of RICEFW objects within a Decentralized S/4HANA 2025 EWM landscape.

This role integrates with SAP ECC Suite on HANA and S/4HANA 2025 TM, focusing on EWM inbound/outbound processes, Cartonization Planning, Standard Package Builder, Packaging Specifications, PSHU/HU processing, WT/WO/WOCR, activity areas, bin/picking sequence, RF Framework, and qRFC integration.

The consultant will ensure smooth operations and resolve technical issues, supporting S/4HANA EWM upgrades and post-upgrade remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, enhance, and troubleshoot RICEFW objects in a Decentralized S/4HANA 2025 EWM landscape.
• Integrate with SAP ECC Suite on HANA and S/4HANA 2025 TM.
• Ensure expertise in EWM inbound/outbound processes, Cartonization Planning, Standard Package Builder, Packaging Specifications, PSHU/HU Pick Sequencing, RF Programming, inbound and outbound interface enhancements, PPF configuration and development, Warehouse Monitor Enhancements, and ABAP on HANA.
• Trace EWM processes end-to-end and determine the origin of issues from SAP standard functionality, EWM configuration/master data, custom ABAP/BAdIs, ECC-EWM integration, queues, authorizations, or performance.
• Support S/4HANA EWM upgrades and post-upgrade technical remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flows in SAP ECC-S4HANA based EWM-TM systems.
• Provide technical expertise in basic ABAP skillsets such as Smart/Adobe forms, RF programs, reports, ABAP/BAdI enhancements, and interfaces.
• Independently identify and resolve EWM issues originating from configuration, master data, SAP standard functionality, custom ABAP, integration, authorization, or system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five plus (10+) years of technical experience utilizing SAP ABAP.
• Minimum 10 years of SAP EWM functional experience.
• Strong expertise in Cartonization Planning, Standard Package Builder, Packaging Specifications, packaging materials, Pick/Shipping HUs, PSHU creation, and carton/bin sequencing, including troubleshooting package-building issues.
• Strong knowledge of interfaces/integration/data flows in SAP ECC-S4HANA based EWM-TM systems.
• Strong ABAP/ABAP OO skills, including classes/methods, function modules, APIs, Open SQL, /SCWM/* objects, EWM BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, RF enhancements, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Experience in S/4HANA 2025 ABAP implementation is a plus.
• Basic ABAP on HANA skillsets in addition to BADIs, Enhancements, Proxy classes, interfaces, webservices development, OO ABAP, OData, etc.
• Experience in basic ABAP skillsets such as Smart/Adobe forms, RF programs, reports, ABAP/BAdI enhancements, and interfaces.
• Strong expertise in interfaces/integration/data flows in SAP ECC-S4HANA based EWM-TM systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP TM on S/4 HANA distributed environment.
• Exposure to integrations with Document Storage system, Hybris, EDI, and PI/PO with SAP.
• Good team player with strong soft skills.
