SAP EWM Consultant

Summary: The role of Senior SAP EWM Consultant involves providing expert guidance and support in SAP WM/EWM solutions, particularly within ECC and S/4HANA environments. The position requires strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and logistics, along with hands-on experience in various related areas. The consultant will also engage in some travel as part of the remote working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in SAP WM/EWM (ECC & S/4HANA) solutions.
• Design and implement warehouse structures including storage types, bins, sections, and quants.
• Develop and optimize putaway and picking strategies such as FIFO, LIFO, and wave picking.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics processes including goods receipt, goods issue, packing, and putaway.
• Oversee Handling Unit Management (HUM) and Storage Unit Management (SUM).
• Conduct inventory management, cycle counting, and stock transfers.
• Utilize RF framework, barcode/RF scanning, and manage cross-functional integrations with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
• Support ECC to S/4HANA WM to EWM migration processes.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP WM/EWM (ECC & S/4HANA).
• Expertise in warehouse structures and logistics.
• Hands-on experience with Handling Unit Management (HUM) and Storage Unit Management (SUM).
• Knowledge of RF framework and barcode/RF scanning.
• Experience with IDocs and data migration.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills.
• Cross-functional integration experience.
