Project Overview

Join the global SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation program “SyWay” for a major client in the chemical industry. A key focus of the program is environmental compliance and safety data integrity across multiple global sites. The SAP EH&S Data Specialist will support these efforts by ensuring accurate, consistent, and regulatory-compliant data to feed EH&S and Environmental Management modules.

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly knowledgeable SAP EH&S Data Specialist to lead data activities related to Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), with a focus on emissions, waste management, environmental permits, and compliance data. You will work closely with business stakeholders and EH&S process owners to collect, validate, and migrate critical environmental data objects using the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the data preparation, cleansing, and migration for EH&S and Environmental Management (EM) domains.
• Work with environmental compliance teams to ensure all regulatory and permit-related data is captured and loaded correctly.
• Use the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP) for transformation, validation, and orchestration of EH&S data loads.
• Align data with SAP EH&S master data standards and environmental reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate across functional and technical teams to maintain data integrity and traceability during go-live and hypercare phases.
• Act as the primary bridge between IT and business regarding all EH&S data topics.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP EH&S or SAP S/4HANA for product safety, waste, emissions, and compliance management.
• Understanding of data structures related to environmental permits, classifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP Environmental Management (EM) module is a strong advantage.
• Prior hands-on experience with data migration tools—ideally the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
• Proven ability to coordinate with business and compliance teams in a global, remote project setting.
• Fluent in English; able to work across cultures and time zones.
