SAP EDI Consultant - 12 months - remote - start 01/2026

Summary: The role of SAP EDI Consultant involves onboarding new business partners via EDI in SAP S/4 Sales and SAP CRM, configuring and maintaining EDI interfaces, and providing support for EDI transactions. The consultant will also develop functional design documents and collaborate with key users and business support teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard new business partners via EDI in SAP S/4 Sales and SAP CRM
• Configure and maintain EDI interfaces for Order-to-Cash (orders, invoices), including IDoc configuration, partner profiles and message types
• Develop functional design documents, EDI mappings and effort estimations
• Guide internal and external developers throughout EDI implementation
• Perform small ABAP enhancements for EDI mappings in SAP CRM
• Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot EDI transactions; provide Level-3 support
• Collaborate closely with key users and business support teams

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience in EDI implementation in SAP S/4HANA and SAP CRM
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 Sales and SAP SD with strong EDI expertise
• Solid know-how of IDoc configuration, partner profiles, message types
• Experience with Seeburger, SAP AIF, SAP CPI or similar integration platforms
• Ability to debug ABAP and work with user exits, BADIs, routines and enhancements
• Experience integrating SAP with external systems using EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT)
• Fluent in English; German language skills preferred
