Summary: Red is seeking an SAP Direct Procurement Consultant specializing in the Oil & Gas downstream sector to support a major global client. The role involves participating in the SAP S/4HANA transformation project, focusing on Direct Procurement processes. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to Houston, Texas. The consultant will leverage their expertise to guide the project through various phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Explore phase of the SAP S/4HANA transformation project in the Oil & Gas HCVC value chain.
• Evaluate business requirements and align product roadmap strategies with best practice solutions.
• Support the customer and Systems Integrator in preparing demo systems related to SAP Direct Procurement capabilities.
• Lead and plan Fit-to-Standard & Detail Design phases, transitioning from Explore to Build.
• Collaborate with the SAP Design Success team to align with project objectives.
• Contribute to design workshops, requirements gathering, and solution validation.
• Provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze customer pain points and assist in producing solution scenarios.
• Communicate challenges to Solution Design Lead and SAP HCVC Delivery Lead.
• Explore existing user exits/enhancements for mapping to SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• QA/support SAP partner's development of S/4HANA Direct Procurement prototype and functional configuration.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing/Direct Procurement E2E processes.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM S/4HANA module, particularly contracts, purchasing, and pricing.
• Experience customizing SAP Direct Procurement modules for downstream Oil & Gas processes.
• Expertise in MM configurations and optimizing Materials Management Direct Procurement processes.
• Experience in the Chemical and/or Oil & Gas downstream industry.
