Summary: The role of SAP Data Services Consultant involves leading and supporting data conversion and load activities during SAP implementation or migration projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end data migration lifecycle using SAP Data Services and LSMW.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and business users to understand legacy data structures, define mapping rules, and execute data load strategies.
  • Develop and execute ETL jobs in SAP Data Services for extracting data from legacy systems and transforming it to match SAP target structures.
  • Create and manage LSMW objects for direct data loads into SAP (e.g., master data and transactional data).
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation in coordination with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with SAP best practices and project standards.
  • Troubleshoot load issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Support cutover activities and provide hyper care support post-go-live.
  • Maintain documentation for data mapping, load plans, validation rules, and testing.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Services Consultant with strong expertise in LSMW to lead and support data conversion and load activities during SAP implementation or migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA data structures, data quality principles, and hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SAP Data Services and Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW).
