Summary: The SAP Cutover Manager will oversee the end-to-end cutover strategy for an S/4HANA greenfield implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to manage planning, execution, and operational readiness activities. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel within Europe and offers long-term contract prospects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP project management and cutover strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the cutover strategy for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Ensure a controlled transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
- Orchestrate business, IT, data migration, and operational readiness activities.
- Collaborate with PMO, functional leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Lead cutover strategy planning and execution.
- Manage cross-functional coordination and data migration efforts.
- Implement risk management and governance practices.
- Ensure business readiness and provide hypercare support post-go-live.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years experience as a Cutover Lead/Manager.
- 10+ years in senior SAP Programme/Project Manager roles.
- Strong experience in planning and executing end-to-end cutover strategies.
- Experience with both SAP and non-SAP cutover activities.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills.

*** SAP Cutover Manager - 9 months + ext. - Remote *** On behalf of one of our key partners RED now has a new opportunity for a SAP Cutover Manager to join an ongoing S/4HANA greenfield implementation. The initial contract will run until 31/01-2026 with long-term prospects. This contract is to start ASAP and will be almost 100% remote with only occasional travel within Europe.
You will be responsible for:
- The Cutover Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the end-to-end cutover strategy for the program supporting the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- This role ensures a controlled, low-risk transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA by orchestrating business, IT, data migration, and operational readiness activities across all functional workstreams.
- The Cutover Lead operates at the program level, working closely with PMO, functional leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless go-live and stabilization.
Cutover strategy & Planning, Execution & Command Center Leadership, Cross-Functional Coordination, Data Migration and System Readiness, Risk Management & Governance, Business Readiness & Hypercare.
Specific skills/experience required:
- 5+ years experience as a Cutover Lead/Manager
- 10+ years in overall senior SAP Programme/Project Manger level roles.
- Strong experience planning and executing end to end cutover strategies.
- Experience with both SAP and non-SAP cutover activities.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills.
