SAP Costing Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Costing Consultant with 15+ years of SAP CO Functional experience and strong expertise in Product Costing (CO-PC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling, month-end closing, and integration with FI, MM, SD, and PP.

The consultant should have successfully delivered 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementation or rollout projects and be comfortable working with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP CO – Product Costing (CO-PC).
• Configure and maintain Costing Variants, Cost Component Structures, and Costing Sheets.
• Perform Standard Cost Estimate creation and release.
• Configure and support BOM/ Routing-based costing.
• Support Unit Costing and Sales Order Costing for Make-to-Order environments.
• Configure and support Cost Object Controlling, including Product Cost by Order and Product Cost by Sales Order.
• Support month-end closing activities including WIP calculation, variance analysis, and settlement.
• Work with Overhead Cost Controlling, including assessment cycles, distribution cycles, and periodic reposting.
• Support integration between SAP CO and FI, MM, SD, and PP.
• Work with CO-PA integration, including Costing-Based and/or Account-Based CO-PA.
• Support Material Ledger / Actual Costing activities where applicable.
• Prepare Functional Specifications for custom developments.
• Collaborate with ABAP/technical teams on enhancements, BAPIs, user exits, and other custom solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
