SAP Concur Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Concur Functional Consultant certified in all modules to independently lead Business-as-Usual (BAU) implementation and enhancement activities across SAP Concur Expense, Travel, Request, and Invoice. The consultant is expected to work with minimal supervision, engage directly with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable solutions, configure the application, coordinate testing, and drive deployments through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead end-to-end BAU implementation and enhancement activities for SAP Concur.
• Configure, test, and deploy SAP Concur Expense, Travel, Request, and Invoice solutions.
• Configure VAT and Non-VAT expense determination and financial posting rules.
• Configure Manager N+1 fallback approval workflows, delegation, escalation, and approval routing.
• Configure Non-Profiled Travel Booking for external candidates and other non-employee travel scenarios.
• Manage solution design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and hypercare with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Procurement, IT and integration teams.
• Support integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, corporate card providers, and Travel Management Companies when required.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, and deployment documentation.
• Prepare training materials and user guides.
• Write test scripts for IT testing (SIT), coordinate the testing and resolve configuration-related defects.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution.
• Support Change Management activities to drive user adoption.
• Assist with end-user communications and training.
• Support go-live planning, readiness, hypercare, and business transition.
• Mentor business users and provide knowledge transfer where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of SAP Concur implementation and support experience.
• Proven experience delivering at least 3 SAP Concur implementations independently
• Strong expertise in Concur Expense, Travel and Invoice configuration.
• Experience configuring tax rules, approval workflows, travel policies, and reimbursement processes.
• Experience integrating SAP Concur with SAP ERP / S/4HANA using standard interfaces, APIs, or SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
• Ability to independently manage requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• All SAP Concur certification required
