Summary: The SAP Commerce Cloud Technical Lead / Architect role involves overseeing the enhancement and modernization of a large-scale B2B eCommerce platform built on SAP Commerce Cloud. The candidate will leverage their extensive experience with SAP Commerce Cloud 2211 or later, focusing on integrations, data flows, and production support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support SAP Commerce Cloud solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud 2211 or later.
  • Support SAP Commerce Cloud upgrades, including version upgrades, Solr upgrades, JDK upgrades, dependency changes, and code adaptation.
  • Work on SAP Commerce Cloud data modeling, item types, relations, interceptors, services, facades, populators, converters, cronjobs, and business process flows.
  • Develop and support OCC APIs for headless commerce integration with frontend applications like AEM or Composable Stores.
  • Support integration between SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP systems through SAP BTP/CPI, Integration Objects, OData services, inbound feeds, and outbound interfaces.
  • Work on product, price, customer, order, delivery, and other master/transaction data flows from SAP CRM/ERP/S/4 systems via BTP.
  • Support inbound and outbound integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, XML, and SAP Commerce Integration APIs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Solr search, indexing, facets, analyzers, case sensitivity issues, indexing performance, and product search relevance.
  • Develop and support Backoffice and HAC customizations, including custom item types, widgets, actions, flexible search, Groovy scripts, and data troubleshooting.
  • Support SAP Commerce Cloud CCV2 infrastructure, deployments, environments, logs, builds, cloud portal operations, and production troubleshooting.
  • Work with payment gateway integrations, including tokenization, payment authorization, settlement flows, and troubleshooting payment-related issues.
  • Support production incidents, root cause analysis, performance issues, data issues, integration failures, and release deployments.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams, middleware teams, SAP teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Apply Java, Spring Framework, JDK 21 compatibility, design patterns, and coding best practices in SAP Commerce development.

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Cloud Technical Lead / Architect with strong hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud 2211 or later versions. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and modernizing a large-scale B2B eCommerce platform built on SAP Commerce Cloud with headless integrations, SAP BTP-based inbound/outbound data flows, Solr search, Backoffice/HAC customizations, OCC APIs, and multiple enterprise integrations.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical ownership, production support experience, upgrade experience, and the ability to work closely with business, SAP, AEM, middleware, infrastructure, and QA teams.
