Summary: The SAP CO Consultant role focuses on Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and Controlling-Profitability Analysis (COPA) within a global SAP roll-out program. The consultant will adapt global finance templates to local business needs while ensuring integration with other SAP modules. This position requires extensive SAP CO and FI experience, particularly in international environments. The role is remote, primarily serving clients in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in discovery workshops, fit-gap analysis, and blueprinting with a strong focus on CO (PCA & COPA).
- Collaborate with global process owners to adapt and extend global templates for local requirements.
- Configure and test SAP CO (PCA, COPA) and FI modules in ECC.
- Ensure seamless integration with other modules (SD, MM, GTM).
- Drive financial reporting and analysis requirements within PCA and COPA.
- Plan and conduct user acceptance sessions with key business users.
- Support data migration, end-user training, and go-live/post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Communicate effectively with local stakeholders and coordinate across central/global teams.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of SAP CO/FI hands-on experience, including multiple full life-cycle implementations.
- Proven expertise in PCA and COPA configuration, reporting, and integration with FI.
- Demonstrated success in international roll-outs within large corporate environments.
- Solid understanding of localization requirements in one or more regions (EMEA, LATAM, APAC, NA).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Willingness to travel if needed (typically during critical roll-out phases).
