Summary: The role of SAP Cloud ALM Support & Operations Consultant involves providing support and operations expertise for a large-scale SAP transformation programme. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension, fully remote, requiring immediate availability. The consultant will leverage extensive SAP experience, particularly in SAP Cloud ALM, to enhance operational efficiency and monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and operations expertise across SAP environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability setups in SAP Cloud ALM.
• Architect BTP Monitoring and design end-to-end monitoring processes.
• Deliver operational service support in SAP Basis / AMS environments.
• Define KPIs, alert thresholds, and dashboards for system health and performance.
• Work hands-on with SAP landscapes including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and BTP.
• Manage incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Integrate monitoring alerts into ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run as needed.
• Apply ITIL processes and best practices in operations.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Key Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in SAP environments.
• Proven experience with SAP Cloud ALM (Operations).
• Experience in architecting BTP Monitoring.
• Strong background in SAP Basis / AMS support.
• Understanding of monitoring frameworks and KPI definition.

RED now has a new contract opportunity for a SAP Cloud ALM Support & Operations Consultant to join one of our key partners for a large-scale SAP transformation programme. The initial contract will be for 6 months, with strong potential for extension across the broader project lifecycle.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be fully remote.

Specific skills/experience required:

• 12+ years of experience working across SAP environments, with a strong focus on operations and support
• Proven experience with SAP Cloud ALM (Operations), particularly in monitoring, alerting and observability setup
• Experience with architecting BTP Monitoring: Design and implement end-to-end monitoring processes for BTP solutions within the SAP Cloud ALM
• Extensive background in SAP Basis / AMS support environments and operational service delivery
• Strong understanding of monitoring frameworks, KPI definition, alert thresholds, and dashboarding for system health and performance
• Hands-on experience working with SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and BTP)
• Familiarity with incident management, root cause analysis, and L2/L3 support processes
• Experience integrating monitoring alerts into ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
