SAP BW/HANA Sidecar Developer (Data Analytics)

Summary: The SAP BW/HANA Sidecar Developer will support advanced data analytics and reporting initiatives within a secure federal environment. The role requires expertise in SAP BW, HANA modeling, and sidecar architectures to create scalable analytics solutions integrated with SAP ERP systems. The developer will focus on building and optimizing data models, pipelines, and reporting layers for critical financial and operational insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAP BW on HANA and HANA Sidecar solutions for advanced analytics
• Build and optimize data models, calculation views, and data flows in HANA
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP ECC/S4 and other source systems
• Develop and maintain BW objects (InfoProviders, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Queries)
• Design high-performance data pipelines for large-scale datasets
• Integrate SAP data with external platforms (e.g., AWS, Databricks, or other analytics tools)
• Support reporting and dashboarding requirements (SAP Analytics Cloud, OAC, or similar)
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with federal standards
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align data models with business needs
