Summary: The SAP Business ByDesign Functional Consultant role is a remote position focused on providing functional support for SAP Business ByDesign across various operational areas, including procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and financial reporting. The consultant will primarily work on purchasing flows, portal integrations, and manufacturing support, ensuring seamless operations and accurate reporting. This position is expected to last between 6 to 12 months and requires the consultant to be located on the East Coast. Travel expenses will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on SAP Business ByDesign functional support across procurement, inventory, costing, manufacturing, and financial reporting processes.
- Focus on purchasing flows and portal integrations, including requisitions and purchase orders between the Purchasing Portal / Oracle and SAP.
- Support inventory and warehouse process execution in SAP, including goods receipt, stock transfers, and replenishment.
- Provide manufacturing and production support in ByDesign, including production master data and SAP integration points.

Job Description:
- Provide hands-on SAP Business ByDesign functional support across the core Spectacles operating stack, spanning procurement, inventory, costing, manufacturing, and financial reporting / reconciliation processes.
- Primary focus areas should include purchasing flows and portal integrations: requisitions and purchase orders moving between the Purchasing Portal / Oracle and SAP, including stock, non-stock, MRP, and sundry purchasing scenarios, plus PO lifecycle visibility and status tracking.
- The resource should also support inventory and warehouse process execution in SAP, including goods receipt, stock transfers, replenishment, shipment-related flows, and the underlying location / business residence mapping needed for accurate segment reporting and clean operations.
- A second major area is manufacturing and production support in ByDesign, including production master data, planning / execution setup, and SAP integration points supporting production orders and operational material movements.
