About the Client

Digital Skills are supporting a Global Technology Business delivering a major SAP transformation programme, migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA through SAP RISE. The programme is focused on ensuring high-quality financial data is successfully migrated into the new SAP environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a newly formed programme team at a critical stage of the transformation.

The role will focus on gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing current and future processes, and working closely with Finance, Product and Engineering teams to ensure financial data flows are accurately defined and delivered.

The hiring manager's priority is an exceptional Business Analyst with experience working on financial data flows and complex enterprise transformation programmes. Previous SAP migration experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops
• Analyse and map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes
• Define requirements for financial data flows into SAP S/4HANA
• Produce high-quality Business Analysis documentation, including process maps and functional requirements
• Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Managers and Engineering teams
• Ensure data quality, completeness and business requirements are clearly understood throughout the programme

Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong Business Analysis experience within large transformation programmes

Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills

Experience documenting business processes and functional requirements

Experience working with financial data flows, data quality and data governance

Ability to work independently and build relationships across multiple business areas

Desirable

• Experience working on SAP transformation programmes
• SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration experience
• Knowledge of SAP RISE
• Experience working with finance-related systems or programmes

Summary of the Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with excellent Business Analysis skills and experience delivering complex transformation programmes involving financial data.

Candidates with SAP migration experience are highly desirable, but strong Business Analysis capability and financial data flow experience are the key requirements for this role.
