SAP BTP CPI Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP CPI Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and SAP Integration Suite. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions using SAP BTP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Develop and maintain Integration Flows (iFlows) for real-time and batch integrations.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and other SAP applications with third-party/non-SAP systems.
• Work with various integration protocols including REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, IDoc, RFC, and JDBC.
• Configure and develop message mappings, value mappings, routing, filtering, transformations, and exception handling.
• Develop complex integrations using Groovy scripting, JavaScript, XML, JSON, XSLT, and XPath.
• Configure security artifacts including credentials, certificates, OAuth, PGP, and SSH keys.
• Monitor deployed integrations and troubleshoot message failures and performance issues.
• Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, alerts, and logging.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support.
• Work with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.
• Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, mapping documents, and support documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and follow integration development best practices.
• Support migration of interfaces from legacy middleware platforms such as SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Expertise in developing iFlows.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC integrations.
• Understanding of API-based integration and API Management.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, Certificates, SSH, and PGP.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
