Summary: The SAP BTP Consultant will join the Software Engineering team to work on the Sovereign Data S4 Solution project, focusing on delivering innovative technology solutions across various industries. The role involves designing, developing, and integrating full-stack applications within the SAP ecosystem to enhance business operations. The consultant will utilize advanced skills in SAP BTP, including Cloud Application Programming Model and integration services. A strong background in SAP ABAP development is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop full-stack applications on SAP BTP using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and/or Java.
- Build and expose OData V4 and REST services consumed by Fiori/SAPUI5 frontends and external systems.
- Develop integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh) connecting S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, IAS/IPS, and third-party systems.
- Implement authentication and authorization using SAP IAS / IPS, XSUAA, and role collections, and integrate policy-based controls via NextLabs where applicable.
- Develop and deploy applications to Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma runtimes using MTA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud for data modeling, CDS views, and persistence while optimizing queries and service performance.
