SAP BTP CAPM Consultant

Summary: The SAP BTP CAPM Consultant role is a remote contract position focused on leveraging extensive experience in SAP BTP development, particularly with the Cloud Application Programming Model. The consultant will be expected to utilize their skills in backend service development, OData services, and cloud-native development to deliver solutions effectively. Strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities are essential, along with experience in Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions using SAP BTP Business Technology Platform.
• Utilize CAPM for Cloud Application Programming Model development.
• Design and integrate OData V4 services.
• Work with SAP Business Application Studio and cloud-native development.
• Model database artifacts using SAP HANA and HANA Cloud CDS.
• Integrate REST APIs and manage service integration.
• Develop SAP Fiori UI5 applications at a basic to intermediate level.
• Understand and apply multitier cloud architecture and microservices design.
• Manage authentication and authorization using IAS and XSUAA roles and catalogs.
• Handle deployment and lifecycle management on BTP.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and unit testing.
• Collaborate in Agile delivery models.

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP BTP development.
• Hands-on experience with CAPM.
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Java.
• Experience with OData V4 services.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio.
• Experience with SAP HANA and HANA Cloud CDS modeling.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience in SAP Fiori UI5 application development.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and microservices.
