Summary: The role involves managing the administration architecture of SAP Business Objects Software, including installation, upgrades, and security settings. The candidate will coordinate with various teams to ensure high availability of the BI platform and handle ad-hoc reporting requests. Experience with data warehousing and BI tools is essential, along with a lead role in BODS migration projects. The position is based remotely or in Texas, USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage administration architecture of SAP Business Objects Software.
- Install new builds and apply patches for upgrades of BO 4.2 Server.
- Manage backups, security settings, and monitoring on Business Objects CMC.
- Supervise authentication, authorization, job scheduling, and publications.
- Coordinate with teams such as NOC, Ops, Infrastructure, and Apps support.
- Schedule BO Webi reports and handle ad-hoc requests and service-related queries.
- Ensure high availability of the BI platform for self-service reporting.
- Lead role in BODS migration projects.
Key Skills:
- Experience in SAP Business Objects, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, BODI, BODS, Informatica.
- Proficiency in database tools such as Teradata, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools.
- Ability to coordinate with infrastructure, network, and database support teams.
- Leadership experience in BI projects.
