Summary: The SAP Basis Consultant role involves managing the technical architecture for SAP systems, including analysis, design, build, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for SAP systems.
  • Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP and manage 3rd party dependencies related to the SAP environment.
  • System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios.
  • Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule.
  • Involved in planning and testing of the DR.
  • Deep understanding of SAP best practices on Backup and Recovery.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions, running on Windows/Linux OS and HANA/Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server DBS.
  • Hands-On experience as a BASIS administrator.
  • Hana tuning and configuration including backups.
  • Provide leadership for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives.
  • Good knowledge of AWS/Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks timely to all stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and managers.
  • Help manage Change Control, Issues, and Risks to ensure timely implementation of projects, including carrying out risk assessments, identifying project roadblocks, and driving mitigations/solutions.
  • Work with technical and non-technical teams, including Customer Support, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams for efficient and effective resolution of project issues and escalations.
