Summary: DFA is looking for an SAP BASIS Consultant to provide technical support for the Mississippi Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC), which serves over 120 State agencies. The role involves supporting both SAP On-Premise applications and the cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors software for Human Capital Management. The consultant will be responsible for various technical tasks related to SAP BASIS administration. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the MAGIC ERP solution based on SAP software.
- Support SAP On-Premise applications and SAP SuccessFactors software.
- Perform SAP software installation, upgrades, and maintenance of multiple landscapes.

DFA is seeking to fill one (1) SAP BASIS Consultant. This position will provide technical support for the Mississippi Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC). MAGIC is the State of Mississippi's ERP solution based on the SAP software. The software is used by the 120+ State agencies for their financial, procurement, grants management, and reporting requirements.
The State is also supporting the cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors software for Human Capital Management (HCM). The consultant will support the SAP On-Premise applications and the SAP cloud-based SuccessFactors software.
Required Skills:
- Five years experience with SAP BASIS administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, support packages, patches, workload analysis, system error analysis, performance monitoring, and maintenance of multiple landscapes.
- Five years experience working with an operational system for a Public Sector client.
- Five years experience with Linux/DB2 and Windows/MSSQL
