Summary: We are looking for a skilled SAP Ariba Test Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities for SAP Ariba implementations, particularly in Buying & Invoicing and Ariba Network integrations. The role requires leadership in test strategy, execution, and defect management to ensure high-quality delivery in procurement processes integrated with SAP ECC / S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own test strategy, scope, timelines, and approach
  • Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases for Ariba B&I and Ariba Network
  • Identify and manage test data requirements
  • Estimate effort and allocate tasks to QA team members
  • Lead Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Validate end-to-end procurement processes including requisitioning, approval workflows, PO lifecycle, goods receipts, and invoicing
  • Validate Ariba ERP integration (CIG / IDocs)
  • Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams
  • Log, track, and prioritize defects using tools like JIRA / HP ALM / qTest
  • Lead defect triage calls and ensure timely resolution
  • Perform re-testing and impact analysis
  • Prepare test summary reports, dashboards, and metrics
  • Maintain traceability matrix, test evidence, and documentation
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Work closely with SAP Ariba functional and integration teams
  • Collaborate with CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) teams
  • Support cutover, hypercare, and post go-live testing

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I) and Ariba Network
  • Strong knowledge of procurement (P2P) processes
  • Experience with SAP ECC / S/4HANA (MM, FI integration) and Ariba integration (CIG, IDOC flows)
  • Strong experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and data validation
  • Experience with test management tools: JIRA / HP ALM / ServiceNow / qTest
  • Ability to lead QA teams and mentor testers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience in Ariba Sourcing / Contracts, automation testing tools, Agile / Scrum methodology, and global SAP rollout projects is preferred
