Summary: Required for a six-month remote contract, the SAP Application Expert – SAP CAR will be responsible for maintaining and developing the SAP application end-to-end, including design, functional requirements, testing, and configuration. The role demands expertise in SAP CAR, logistics, and integration with various systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. The candidate will also support the transition to SAP S/4HANA and advocate for the product team in various forums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in SAP CAR Omnichannel Article Availability and Sourcing (OAA), SAP Logistics (SD), and SAP Available to Promise (ATP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules and custom-built solutions across SAP CAR, SAP ECC, and Azure.
  • Work closely with Enterprise & Solution Architects to define and align technology roadmaps.
  • Ensure efficient integration of SAP CAR with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Take ownership of solution design within one or more product areas.
  • Develop functional specifications for SAP developers to support business needs.
  • Support and facilitate the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Actively participate in the evaluation and implementation of next-generation eCommerce solutions.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the product team, representing and advocating for the team in various forums.

Key Skills:

  • Proven ability to deliver solutions in SAP CAR Omnichannel Article Availability (OAA) process flows.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP CAR, SAP SD and SAP ATP.
  • Knowledge and experience in multi-channel retail solutions.
  • End-to-end Supply Planning knowledge.
  • Extensive experience in an SAP functional role within a complex business and system landscape.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
