Summary: The role of SAP APO / SCM Consultant (SPP Specialist) involves leveraging extensive experience in Service Parts Planning to design and configure integrated supply chain solutions within SAP APO and SAP ECC. The consultant will work closely with technical teams and across various modules to ensure seamless integration and optimization of planning strategies. This position is critical for enhancing demand management and inventory processes for a leading enterprise client. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure SAP APO SPP and SAP ECC modules, specifically within Service Parts Planning, including demand capture, forecasting, inventory planning, and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, including system lifecycle and change tracking.
  • Support technical teams in data conversion, integration development, and reporting.
  • Collaborate across modules including EWM, SD, MM, and PP for seamless system integration.
  • Provide functional expertise in planning strategies (Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock, Kit-to-Stock).
  • Assist in unit solution development using non-SAP tools where necessary.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of SAP experience in SCM, APO, and ECC implementations and support.
  • Expertise in SAP Service Parts Planning (SPP) is a must-have.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP APO PPDS, GATP, DP, SNP.
  • Knowledge of SAP PP, MM, SD, WM, QM.
  • Master data setups, MRP, process & production orders.
  • SAP Core Interface (CIF), PDS, transportation lanes.
  • Experience with Forecasting, DRP, Push/Pull Deployment, and Global ATP/CTP strategies.
