Summary: Whitehall Resources is seeking an SAP APO Consultant for a 6-month contract, fully remote from India. The role involves leading SAP SCM implementation and support projects, engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensuring compliance with SAP best practices. The consultant will also provide post-go-live support and collaborate with technical teams for custom enhancements. Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and supply chain processes is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation and support projects for SAP SCM modules including MM, PP, SD, EWM/TM, and IBP within SAP S/4HANA 2023 and above.
  • Engage closely with business stakeholders to accurately gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and translate these into effective SAP S/4HANA SCM solutions.
  • Configure and customize key SAP SCM components including Material Master Data, BOMs, Work Centers, Routing, MRP, Production Orders, Advanced ATP (aATP), and integrated logistics execution processes.
  • Provide post-go-live support, manage incidents, and resolve support tickets efficiently within SLA guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough integration testing (SIT/UAT), manage defect tracking, and facilitate user training sessions for smooth adoption of SAP functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with ABAP and SAP technical teams to design and validate functional specifications for custom enhancements and reports.
  • Lead data migration and cutover activities using SAP tools such as Migration Cockpit, LTMC, IDOCs, and BAPIs for seamless transitions.
  • Expertise in advanced supply chain processes including demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and vendor collaboration using SAP IBP and embedded analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, system governance standards, and regulatory compliance through effective change management strategies.
  • Work effectively in Agile project environments, actively participating in scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in SAP SCM implementation and support, particularly with SAP S/4HANA 2023 or later versions.
  • Experience of driving at least one end to end Supply chain implementation (any industry).
  • Strong functional expertise across SAP MM, PP, SD, EWM/TM, and IBP modules.
  • Experience in configuring Advanced ATP (aATP), Embedded Analytics, and other advanced S/4HANA features.
  • Hands-on experience with data migration tools and methodologies provided in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of integration aspects of SAP SCM with other modules such as Finance and Controlling (FICO), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Logistics Execution (LE).

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
