SAP ABAP OpenText VIM Technical Consultant

Summary: The SAP ABAP OpenText VIM Technical Consultant role focuses on hands-on ABAP development specifically for OpenText SAP VIM. The consultant will be responsible for enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom workflows within VIM, as well as supporting compliance scenarios in S/4HANA FI landscapes. The position requires in-depth knowledge of VIM invoice processing and strong debugging skills. This is a contract position based in the USA with remote working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance ABAP solutions specifically for OpenText SAP VIM.
• Implement user exits, BADIs, and custom workflows for VIM.
• Manage VIM invoice processing, approval workflows, and exception handling.
• Support compliance and statutory reporting scenarios in S/4HANA FI landscapes.
• Apply S/4HANA Clean Core principles, including custom code analysis and remediation.
• Work effectively in S/4HANA environments.
• Utilize strong debugging, performance tuning, and code remediation skills.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on ABAP development experience in OpenText SAP VIM.
• Experience with VIM enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of VIM invoice processing and approval workflows.
• Experience in compliance or statutory reporting in S/4HANA FI landscapes.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Clean Core principles.
