Summary: The SAP ABAP Full Stack Developer role at ComTec requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in modern ABAP programming, particularly in ABAP on HANA, RAP/CAP frameworks, and SAP Fiori development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications while ensuring integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35, indicating a flexible working arrangement. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using ABAP 7.x standards and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
  • Develop and enhance ABAP CDS Views with UI5 annotations, OData services, REST/JSON, and XML.
  • Implement solutions using ABAP Programming Models for SAP Fiori, including RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
  • Build and support integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, PI Proxies, WSDL, and OData REST APIs.
  • Design and implement RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, runtime analysis, and code optimization to ensure scalable solutions.
  • Utilize modern development tools such as SAP Business Application Studio, HANA Studio (Eclipse), and Git for version control.
  • Work with S/4HANA Extensibility frameworks (Key User Extensibility, In-App & Side-by-Side extensions).
  • Develop and enhance Fiori freestyle applications and RAP-based services.
  • Debugging, Analyzing, and improving standard objects
  • Code optimization, Performance tuning, and Runtime Analysis.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and participate in performance tuning and troubleshooting.

  • Follow Agile / DevOps practices where applicable.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development (S/4HANA preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in ABAP 7.x and ABAP on HANA development.
  • Proven expertise in ABAP CDS views with UI5 annotations and OData services.
  • Hands-on experience with RAP & CAP frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of integration methods (BAPI, RFC, IDOC, PI Proxies, OData REST APIs).

ComTec is looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in modern ABAP programming models, CDS views, and SAP Fiori development.
