Summary: The role of SAP ABAP/Fiori/OpenText Developer involves designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP, Fiori, and OpenText technologies. The position requires extensive experience in various SAP components and collaboration with multiple teams to support development initiatives. The candidate will primarily work remotely, with the possibility of onsite work if required. This position is critical for maintaining a robust production environment and executing corporate SAP development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom SAP code using ABAP, Web Dynpro, and JAVA with SAP HANA.
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using HTML5, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Create SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service builder and CDS Views.
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 apps using SAP Web IDE and consume Gateway OData/Restful APIs.
- Extend, customize, and implement SAP Fiori standard components.
- Support UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops with customers.
- Work with SAP Fiori Elements and SAP Annotations.
- Utilize SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori Architecture for Cloud and On-Premise deployments.
- Manage Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal.
- Use ABAP Development tools in Eclipse environment.
- Debug using Chrome/Edge debuggers.
- Develop using SAP BSP.
- Work with SAP Business Application Studio and Mobile App development.
- Administer OpenText Administration Client and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Install and configure OpenText Enterprise Scan and Imaging software.
- Customize projects for OpenText Doculink Applications.
- Configure and develop OpenText/SAP related components.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in SAP ABAP, Web Dynpro, and JAVA.
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

NCDOT is seeking a Sr. Developer to be a key resource for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP FIORI and ABAP applications, and OpenText document management efforts in a mature SAP environment.
NCDOT s environmental services over 6,000 users and includes instances of ECC, CRM, BI, Business Objects, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, PI, BTP and OpenText document management. This position plays a key role in establishing, executing and supporting our corporate strategy for SAP development. Maintaining a sound production environment for development initiatives while at the same time participating in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity is key.
This role requires close collaboration and coordination with the Business departments, EBS Development team, EBS Basis team, EBS Functional team, EBS Operations Services and Support team, Network Engineers and Enterprise Architects.
