SAP ABAP & Fiori Developer/SAP Technical Lead (ABAP/Fiori)/SAP ABAP Integration Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP & Fiori Technical Lead to support and enhance an enterprise SAP landscape while driving ongoing SAP S/4HANA modernization initiatives. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on modern ABAP development, SAP Fiori applications, production support, custom code remediation, integrations, and SAP upgrade activities.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development, understand the architectural differences between ECC and S/4HANA, and have strong experience developing modern SAP applications utilizing CDS Views, OData Services, SAPUI5, and Clean Core principles. Experience supporting future SAP BTP initiatives is highly desirable.

SAP Production Support

• Provide hands-on production support for SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Partner with AMS and functional teams to resolve critical production incidents.
• Improve application stability, reliability, and system performance.

SAP S/4HANA Transformation

• Support SAP upgrade and S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Perform custom code remediation for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Execute ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) analysis and resolve identified issues.
• Replace obsolete ECC objects and adapt custom developments for S/4HANA.
• Participate in upgrade readiness assessments and modernization activities.

SAP Development

• Design, develop, and optimize modern ABAP solutions.
• Build scalable applications following S/4HANA development best practices.
• Develop reusable technical components using Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Perform performance tuning and code optimization.

SAP Fiori & UI Development

• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications.
• Create and maintain OData Services.
• Build SAPUI5 applications utilizing CDS annotations.
• Support enterprise-wide Fiori deployment initiatives.
• Collaborate with UX and functional teams on application enhancements.

Enterprise Integrations

• Develop and support enterprise integrations utilizing:
• IDocs
• RFCs
• BAPIs
• OData Services
• SAP Web Services
• Support API-based integrations across SAP platforms.

SAP ABAP Development

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Modern Open SQL development.
• Inline declarations.
• SQL Expressions.
• Aggregations and Joins.
• Code Pushdown techniques.
• Performance-focused development practices.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture.
