Job Description
The ideal candidate should be a strong technical ABAP professional with hands-on expertise in ABAP, HANA Modeling, CDS, and AMDP, along with exposure to SAP data and analytics technologies. Experience in BW, BPC, or SAP Datasphere will be considered a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications.
- Develop and optimize ABAP programs for SAP HANA environments.
- Create and maintain CDS Views and data models for reporting and analytical requirements.
- Develop AMDP procedures and methods for HANA-based data processing and performance optimization.
- Perform HANA Modeling, including calculation views and other HANA data models.
- Analyze performance issues and optimize ABAP and HANA-based solutions.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop interfaces, reports, enhancements, forms, and other ABAP objects as required.
- Participate in unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
- Prepare technical specifications and relevant development documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP HANA Modeling.
- Strong experience with AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
- Hands-on experience developing CDS Views.
- Good understanding of ABAP on HANA and HANA performance optimization.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of SAP development standards and best practices.
