Role Purpose

We are looking for a seasoned Subject Matter Expert (SME) PM to lead the end-to-end migration from legacy platforms (SNOW License Manager / Flexera) into ServiceNow SAMPro. This is not a "checklist" PM role; we require a technical project lead who understands the architectural nuances of ServiceNow’s ITSM and the SAMPro modules, the complexities of software license discovery and lifecycle management / entitlements, and the intricacies of the underlying data attributes. You will use your considerable experience and knowledge to drive the design and delivery of the migration to leading class standards of quality while maintaining a seamless experience for our end users.

Demonstrable project scope exposure or experience

Demonstrable hands on, full lifecycle project delivery experience migrating from SNOW / Flexera Software License Manager (SLM) to ServiceNow SAMPro in the last year

Experience delivering process change relating to SAMPRO adoption into BAU teams.

Intermediate knowledge of SAMPro functionality, underlying data principles and reporting capabilities.

Intermediate knowledge of SAMPro metering and discovery functionality and integrations including SCCM, JAMF, SAAS portals.

Intermediate knowledge software asset, contractual and license data attributes.

ServiceNow SAMPRO development - including OOTB and customised forms / workflow / integration through inhouse or third party suppliers.

Delivering complex multi country projects and programmes with exec level stakeholder reporting & management

Software License Management data cleansing and data migration

Knowledge of CSDM concepts, structures and principles

Working with ServiceNow ITBM, ADO or Monday.com

Desirable - capturing and articulating business requirements and user stories (running workshops etc)

Soft Skills for the Hardened SME
