Summary: The Salesforce Test Lead/Test Manager role involves leading QA initiatives for Salesforce implementations and integrations, requiring extensive experience in Salesforce testing and strong leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive test strategy, planning, and execution for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, Community/Experience Cloud).
- Lead QA teams (onsite and offshore), assign tasks, monitor execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Admins, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure testing aligns with business requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Salesforce customizations, configurations, and workflows.
- Validate Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, APIs, and data flows.
- Ensure proper validation of Salesforce integrations with third-party applications (e.g., middleware, ERP, CRM extensions).
- Implement and manage automation frameworks for Salesforce testing (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado, Tricentis Tosca).
- Integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Copado DevOps).
- Manage and track test execution and defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or qTest.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous testing, release readiness, and deployment validation.
- Maintain QA documentation including test plans, scripts, execution reports, and defect metrics.
- Provide test status updates, risk assessments, and quality metrics to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and Salesforce best practices.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of QA/testing experience, with at least 3+ years in a Test Lead/Test Manager role.
