Summary: The Salesforce Test Engineer role involves creating and executing test cases to validate Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements. The position requires active SC clearance and is classified as inside IR35, with a focus on collaboration and documentation throughout the testing process. Candidates will work remotely for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating test cases and scripts to validate the functionality of a Salesforce solution
- Executing tests and documenting the results
- Identifying and reporting any bugs or defects
- Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Assisting with the creation of user documentation and training materials
- Supporting the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) process
- Ensuring that the solution meets the client's requirements
- Documenting and maintaining the testing process
Key Skills:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing, with experience in Salesforce testing, is a plus
- Experience with test case management and defect-tracking tools
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Salesforce certification is an advantage
- Familiarity with Selenium or other automation testing tools
