We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for an NVPP3 Cleared Salesforce Tech Lead to join their team on a six-month contract for a law enforcement end client.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a large-scale Salesforce implementation in the public sector, focusing on policing/law enforcement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, with experience in managing teams and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable solutions. Knowledge of public sector processes, particularly those within law enforcement, is highly desirable.
* Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions for the public sector, specifically in policing or law enforcement.
* Manage a team of Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
* Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the technical solutions align with business objectives.
* Oversee the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.
* Ensure that Salesforce solutions are compliant with public sector regulations and standards.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in Salesforce development (eg, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components).
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team.
* Work with external vendors or contractors as needed, ensuring that they align with project objectives and standards.
* Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead or Architect in large-scale projects, particularly within the public sector (ideally policing or law enforcement).
* Expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
* Experience leading a team of Salesforce developers and managing the end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce solutions.
* In-depth knowledge of public sector processes, particularly in law enforcement, policing, or government projects.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Valid NVPP3 clearance or higher.
* Salesforce certifications (eg, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Technical Architect) are a plus.
