Summary: The Salesforce Solutions Architect at BAE Systems is responsible for designing and managing Salesforce solutions, leading the technical vision, and aligning business and IT objectives. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop a comprehensive Salesforce strategy. The position is remote and offered on a 6-month contract basis. The architect will also oversee release management and drive innovation within Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage Salesforce architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
• Lead the development of Salesforce applications, ensuring they meet defined architecture and enterprise standards.
• Own Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment processes.
• Manage Salesforce strategies, risks, maintenance, data, integrations, and security.
• Drive innovation by identifying reusable components, tools, accelerators, and AppExchange solutions.
• Work with business analysts to ensure Salesforce solutions meet business development requirements.
• Lead Salesforce user experience design and provide expert advice.
• Communicate complex concepts and solutions through diagrams, written materials, and meetings with stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative programming techniques and administrative features.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce coding languages (APEX, Triggers, Batch Apex, LWC).
• Extensive experience with Data Modeling and managing CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and understanding of Service Cloud (preferred).
• Experience with integrations, third-party tools, and ETL processes with Salesforce (preferred).
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
