Summary: The Salesforce Quality Assurance Consultant role involves immediate engagement in a multi-year program focused on QA/testing for Salesforce platform implementations. The consultant will be responsible for executing various testing methodologies, translating business requirements into test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is remote and requires a strong understanding of Salesforce features and testing processes. Experience in government or public sector projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into test cases and test scripts
  • Execute tests, identify/track defects, and manage test data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, BAs, PMs)
  • Manage testing environments (sandboxes)
  • Provide status reports and metrics to project stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on QA/testing experience on Salesforce platform implementations
  • Experience executing Functional, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), smoke, and end-to-end testing
  • Working experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments, including requirement analysis and risk assessment
  • Experience translating business requirements into test cases, test scripts, and test artifacts (plans, cases, reports)
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting (e.g., Jira or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce core features, data model, security model (profiles/roles), workflows, validation rules, and Sales Cloud
  • Proficiency in functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, and end-to-end testing methodologies
  • Ability to build and execute test cases, test scripts, and regression test plans
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in identifying edge cases and defects
  • Ability to document test results clearly and communicate findings to the team
  • Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and point-and-click testing (declarative features, flows, permissions, roles)
