Summary: The Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) Functional Architect is a remote role focused on implementing Salesforce OMS for clients. The position requires extensive experience in multiple Salesforce OMS implementations, emphasizing hands-on expertise rather than general order management experience. The architect will lead workshops, assist with system administration, and ensure database integrity while providing support during user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and OMS functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and end users to lead workshops to gather, understand and define business requirements
- Assist with ongoing system Salesforce Commerce Cloud administration including but not limited to: creating products, promotions, source codes, gift cards, coupons, sales tax and merchandising the site, configuration of Security functionality
- Maintain database integrity and accuracy via data cleansing, data uploads
- Assist with release evaluations including defining scope and priorities for system initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner and provide internal support when needed
- Lead end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & regression testing to accurately prioritize defects and re-test resolved issues
- Train customer personnel to Manage the Storefront
