Summary: The Salesforce Developer is a senior-level role focused on designing and delivering Salesforce solutions, requiring expertise in both UI-based configuration and custom Apex development. This position involves collaborating with business stakeholders to create well-architected solutions across various Salesforce Clouds. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining system integrations and enhancing user interfaces through Lightning Web Components. A strong emphasis is placed on technical strategy, platform stewardship, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the platform authority for UI-based configuration, including the design of custom objects, schema relationships, validation rules, and formula fields.
- Utilize Salesforce Flow to automate business processes with a configuration-first mindset.
- Optimize the end-user experience using Dynamic Forms, Lightning record pages, and standard Salesforce UI capabilities.
- Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, and invocable actions to extend the platform beyond declarative limits.
- Build and maintain robust system integrations between Salesforce and external data sources using Apex and platform-native integration patterns.
- Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance user interfaces and support specialized business workflows.
- Translate functional business requirements into scalable Salesforce designs that align with platform best practices and governor limits.
- Design and maintain a secure security model using permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy, particularly within regulated environments.
- Identify and remediate technical debt, modernizing legacy automation into high-performance Flows and Apex.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across configuration, automation, custom code, and integrations.
- Maintain clear technical and functional documentation for all Flows, custom code, and platform standards.
- Partner with DevOps and stakeholders to define release practices and environment strategy.

- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years of dedicated Salesforce development experience in complex, multi-cloud environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Flow and Apex (Triggers, Classes, Integrations).
