Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions specifically within the healthcare domain. This role involves making architectural decisions while also engaging in hands-on development, requiring deep Salesforce expertise and an understanding of healthcare compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions leveraging best practices, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
- Lead end-to-end integration efforts with external healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, ERP, marketing, patient service platforms) using APIs, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, and other middleware.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate healthcare requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and guide junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
- Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Partner with QA teams to validate functionality and performance.
- Document architectural decisions, development standards, and deployment processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to optimize platform performance and development efficiency.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of Salesforce development experience, including architecture and solution design.
- Experience working with or supporting healthcare organizations.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications required. Application Architect/System Architect certifications are highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration/custom development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security architecture, and sharing rules.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Salesforce DevOps tools.
- Solid knowledge of HIPAA, data protection standards, and healthcare compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
