Summary: We are looking for a Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Specialist with over 15 years of experience to lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions for clients in the consumer goods sector. The role demands a blend of technical expertise in Salesforce CRM and strong consulting skills to facilitate complex transformations. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency and enhance customer engagement through tailored Salesforce solutions. This position is fully remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solutions to optimize field sales, retail execution, and compliance processes.
- Configure and customize Salesforce features including Lightning Components, Flows, Process Builders, and Apex to meet business requirements.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or other middleware solutions.
- Develop scalable data migration strategies leveraging Data Loader, Informatica, or equivalent ETL tools for large datasets (100M+ records).
- Optimize visit planning and routing through Salesforce Maps and other geolocation tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into functional and technical designs.
- Lead the definition of sandbox strategies (Development, SIT, UAT, Training, Production) and manage release management processes.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including security, data governance, and system performance optimization.
- Provide architectural guidance for multi-cloud Salesforce environments, including integrations with ERP and legacy systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, etc.).
- Support pre-sales efforts by preparing solution blueprints, effort estimates, and RFP responses.
- Mentor junior developers and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 14+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years working with Consumer Goods Cloud.
- Proven experience designing solutions for field sales, order management, contract management, and B2B environments.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Framework, Apex, SOQL, and integration frameworks.
