Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides architectural oversight of IT project activities in their area(s) of expertise to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
  • Participates in the development of process, data, and technology standards and design discussions, reviews, which increase capabilities, scalability and performance
  • Provides technical guidance, training, direction and reviews the work of colleagues working on architectural issues to ensure alignment
  • Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact platform-wide development
  • Interact with various business user groups for gathering requirements for Salesforce implementation and documented the Business and Software Requirements.
  • Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
  • Communicate project status to various levels of management
  • Contributes to strategic technology planning, including proposed cost implications; able to anticipate business needs to effectively plan for the future of technologies supported
  • Participates as a member of a review council contributing to the development and adoption of the new architecture and standards across IT
  • Provides solutions to the business, leveraging their technical expertise, a broad understanding of the current and future technology architectures, and an awareness of Gilead key strategies and objectives
  • Leads the evaluation of new technologies relative to their area(s) of expertise.
  • Proposes technology investments supported by a thorough technical analysis, proof of concept and business case

Key Skills:

  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, OmniStudio and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, others)
  • Thorough knowledge of Architectural Design Patterns
  • Data Architecture and Management
  • Hands-on development, config and data setup for testing
  • Perform Code and technical reviews.
  • Deployments and Release management and Environment Management.
  • Hands-on experience by using an ETL tool to perform data loading from external systems
  • Experience in healthcare transformation project as a Technical/Enterprise Architect
  • Working knowledge on continuous integration, working with repositories (e.g. Git, Bitbucket)
  • Standardization and governance of code development and DevOps process
  • Experience in implementing large scale projects, Go-Live activities and Hyper care.
