Summary: The Salesforce Architect role is a leadership position focused on guiding the Salesforce development organization, requiring extensive technical expertise in Salesforce environments and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve the overall Salesforce technical architecture.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives across Salesforce clouds.
  • Guide Salesforce best practices, new features, and integrations.
  • Lead the design, reengineering, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Design, implement, and champion mature Salesforce DevOps practices.
  • Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and release management.
  • Optimize tooling (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Enforce development standards, code quality guidelines, and branching strategies.
  • Take ownership of, rebuild, and strategically direct the Salesforce development team.
  • Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities, and plan for the transition of the current Salesforce development team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Implement effective hybrid Agile/Scrum methodologies, project management, and planning practices.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance on complex development challenges.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for critical issues and provide expert troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and industry trends, evaluating new technologies.
  • Assess existing development organization capabilities and implement strategies for improvement and growth.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Possess Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect) as preferred qualifications.

Job Description
Seeking a seasoned leader to lead our Salesforce development organization. This role requires in-depth technical expertise across various Salesforce environments, a proven track record of implementing robust DevOps practices, and the ability to lead and direct a high-performing development team.
Salesforce Architectural Leadership:
Define and evolve the overall Salesforce technical architecture.
