Summary: The Sales Engineer role involves providing technical pre-sales support for a software solution, focusing on enhancing client experiences as the company expands its accounting offerings. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with technical pre-sales enablement, onboarding, and client support.
- Engage with enterprise customers to present technical solutions and drive sales processes.
- Create technical assets to improve team efficiency and integration processes.
- Collaborate across sales, business development, product, and engineering teams.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel as needed to support customer engagements and industry events.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical sales.
- Proven expertise in engaging enterprise customers and presenting technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of SaaS, APIs, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and financial/accounting technologies.
- Familiarity with API tools and technologies such as swagger, REST API, GraphQL, and Postman.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Experience with enterprise software, particularly in fintech, accounting, or financial services sectors.
- Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and documentation platforms.
