Role
- The SaaS Sales Director will take ownership of the commercial growth strategy for the SaaS business, working closely with the Group leadership team.
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy, identifying priority markets, customer segments and routes to market.
- Drive revenue growth through a combination of direct sales, digital acquisition and strategic partnerships.
- Lead and develop the existing sales capability, while remaining hands-on in driving key customer and commercial opportunities.
- Build a repeatable and scalable sales process, with clear pipeline, forecasting and commercial KPIs.
- Develop and grow strategic, channel and commercial partnerships to create a scalable partner-led route to market.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts through upselling, cross-selling and improved customer engagement.
- Work closely with product and technology teams to shape product priorities, pricing and SaaS packaging around customer and market needs.
- Develop the commercial infrastructure and team required to support future growth.
- Take ownership of revenue performance, budgets, forecasts and key commercial metrics.
- Work with the wider Group to leverage existing resources, expertise and infrastructure where appropriate.
- Play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business, with the potential to transition into a permanent leadership position.
Profile
- The SaaS Sales Director will have proven experience working within a SaaS, digital technology or technology-led business.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, sales-led growth and customer acquisition.
- Proven experience leading and developing a sales or commercial team.
- Strong track record of winning new business and growing existing customer relationships.
- Experience developing partnerships, channels or indirect routes to market.
- Commercially minded, with a good understanding of SaaS pricing, recurring revenue models and customer economics.
- Experience taking a SaaS product, sales function or commercial business through a period of growth.
- Comfortable being hands-on, personally driving opportunities while building the sales capability required to scale.
- Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills and understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with customers, partners and senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Salary & Benefits
The day rate is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training. The initial contract is for a minimum of 6 months, with a strong opportunity for the role to become permanent.
